As Director of Investments, Barbara is responsible for due diligence, acquisition and disposition valuation analysis, investment marketing brochures, packages and special projects. Her other qualifications include property budget valuations for institutional clients as well as lease valuation and lease rate analysis. She is proficient in ARGUS Financial Software, Excel, Word, PageMaker, Photoshop and Illustrator. Barbara works closely with the leasing department, providing Dun and Bradstreet and personal credit reports. With nearly three decades of experience in investment management, she joined Madison Marquette in 1994 as Financial Analyst for Advisory Services, bringing to the company a solid academic background in land economics and real estate finance and analysis as well as experience in commercial real estate market research.

Before joining the firm, Barbara was employed at Trahan and Partners Real Estate Valuation and Consulting Firm in Houston, Texas; the Real Estate Center in College Station, Texas; and at Texas A&M University, College of Business Administration.

Barbara received a B.S. Degree in Agricultural Economics and a Masters of Land Economics and Real Estate from Texas A&M University. She is a licensed Real Estate Agent in Texas. Barbara is a member of the Society of Texas A&M University Real Estate Professionals and is on the Board of Directors for the Kids Unlimited Foundation. She is a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo and serves as a volunteer on the Tours Committee.
